The film has collected over Rs 100.03 crores across globe in its opening weekend.
Akshay Kumar-starrer Housefull 3 has collected Rs 100 crore in the first weekend. The Sajid-Farhad directed film, which is the third installment in the Housefull franchise, released on June 3.
Housefull 3 also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. The star cast is happy with the success of the film and Akshay recently took to Twitter to thank his fans for all the love and support.
Collections of some of the biggest comedies so far have been as follows and Housefull 3 should comfortably surpass them all before it enters its second week.
Singh Is Bliing – 77.6 crore
Welcome Back – 74.02 crore
Ready – 69 crore
Bol Bachchan – 66.72 crore
Grand Masti – 65.51 crore
Housefull 2 – 64.2 crore
Golmaal 3 – 62 crore
Housefull 3 – 61.56 crore [second week]
Surprisingly, the two films at the top [Singh Is Bliing, Welcome Back] couldn’t cross the 100 crore barrier despite the best weekend collections amongst them all. However, Housefull 3 is not expected to face that hurdle, but its reach its good news for film maker. With this, the film now stands at 103.20 crores at the Box Office.
